Siach, an Environment and Social Justice Conversation, brings together committed activists from across Israel, North America, and Europe. **ROI/PresenTense Interactive Learning Program with the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies (June 18): The Future As It Was - Leadership and Creativity Through the Lens of Jewish Text: How can people most effectively express their ideas? How do we build organizations that encourage creativity? How do we balance stability and innovation?
Jewish tradition has been pondering these issues for thousands of years and has come up with unusual and innovative solutions. This day-long interactive program includes Jewish text study, meeting others who share your interests, and touring Jerusalem through the eyes of other creatives. Open to all backgrounds and levels. No prior experience with Jewish text is necessary; texts will be available in Hebrew and English.
Time: 9:30 am-5:00 pm

**The Israeli Presidential Conference (June 19-21):

This prestigious event is taking place the week after the Summit, in Jerusalem. The conference is organized under the auspices of the President of the State of Israel. ** ‘Cities of Light’: A Dazzling Jewish Cabaret of Berlin, Tel Aviv, Warsaw & Paris from the 1920s & 1930s
Cities of Light, an original cabaret, written and performed by Rebecca Joy Fletcher, which highlights the Jewish cabarets of Berlin, Tel Aviv, Warsaw and Paris from the 1920s and 1930s, will be staged in Jerusalem on June 19, 21 and 23. The performances will be held at the Martef Theater, 7 Emek Refaim St. (entrance on Patterson St.), German Colony, Jerusalem. The production is in English, with a smattering of German, Hebrew, Yiddish and French. Tickets can be purchased online. ROIers only pay 20NIS instead of 90NIS! Click on the image for more details.

**WCJCS 12th Quadrennial Conference (June 24-26):

**PresenTense SocialStart Trainers Course for ROI Community Members (July 9-15):
PresenTense is inviting qualifying ROI members to take part in an eight-day highly interactive training program in Jerusalem teaching cutting edge online tools and innovation management techniques. Graduates will receive PresenTense’s SocalStart certification, and select participants will be invited to facilitate workshops for aspiring entrepreneurs and organizational innovators for PresenTense operated programs in Israel and around the world. Once certified, PresenTense will work closely with SocialStarters to identify relevant teaching opportunities beginning in fall 2012. For course details and to apply, click here.
