1. Can I apply to both ROI Grant Funds?
Yes. However, you will most likely receive funding from only one grant fund.


2. Can I use the funds to match other funds from other organizations?
Yes, we encourage it.


3. Can I reapply for a grant that I did not receive in the past?
Yes.


4. Can I apply for another grant to continue developing a project that was funded in the past?
Yes.


5. Can I apply before I attend the ROI Summit?
No, you must have previously participated in an ROI Summit or previously been a recipient of the Charlie Award.


6. What happens if I don’t use up all of the money awarded to me during the fiscal year? Do I have to return the money?
Possibly. We will treat each case individually. However, we expect you to adhere to your proposed timeline.


7. If I’m receiving the money personally, am I liable to pay taxes?
You might be, depending on what country you live in. We will do our best to assist you in navigating these matters on an individual basis.


8. What currency will I receive the money?
U.S. dollars.


9. Will I receive all the money upfront?
It depends on the size of the grant and the proposed time-frame of the project.


10. How will my work be monitored?
Each grant recipient will develop individual work and reporting plans, including a clear timeline of financial installments and updates. The scope and frequency of updates and progress reports will depend on the project's size, duration and the sum received. In addition, the work plan will detail milestones for project progression and professional development.

11. If I’ve received a grant for my project from the Schusterman Foundation, can I apply to the ROI Grants for funding for that project?
Projects that have received direct funding over the past 3 years from the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation or the Schusterman Foundation – Israel are NOT eligible to receive funds from ROI Grants.
