Vivian is blessed to be living her dream: she and her husband are co-creating Eden Village Camp, a new Jewish overnight summer camp near New York City focusing on environmentalism and social justice. She also leads service-learning trips with the Jewish Funds for Justice, and service-focused Birthright Israel trips with Livnot UíLehibanot. As a graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, she also offers integrative health counseling programs for individuals and groups. Vivian, a graduate of Columbia Law School, comes to these pursuits from a background in public interest law practice and mediation, and she previously taught a social justice-themed Boricua College course. Vivian finds joy in making music and art, heart-to-heart conversations, dancing, working, being in nature, giving, receiving... and when she's paying attention, in washing dishes, too. These activities and many others deepen her commitment to social justice by reminding her of the beauty of the world.
