Anthony's mother and father were originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa, and were both members of the Krio Tribe. After their divorce, his mother insisted that he be raised in New York City so he could enjoy similar cultural/social experiences as she did growing up in London. Following the Krio tradition, Anthony's mother raised him through the religion of his father ó Islam ó even though she was Christian. Anthony grew up in Manhattanís Upper West Side and was immersed in reform Jewish Culture. After his mother died, he converted to Judaism and has been exploring the spiritual and communal aspects ever since. Anthony is currently an Environmental Planner in Los Angeles, where he focuses on land use and socioeconomic environmental issues.
