Jesse Ash is an award-winning filmmaker and a vegetarian. Born and raised in Queens, NY, he swam across the East River to attend New York Universityís Tisch School of the Arts, where he currently serves on the Alumni Council. In November of this past year, he joined forces with Greener Media to produce and direct eco-conscious videos, and has developed partnerships with the Green Business Summit, Green Apple Festival (Americaís largest Earth Day festival) and the Sustainable South Bronxóan environmental justice non-profit. This past summer Jesse won the grand prize in Stand Up 2 Cancerís Film Challenge for his animated short, Magical Cure, which also won a Webby award for best PSA. His other animated short, Buby's First Flight, won the grand prize in EL ALís video contest. Jesse is currently developing numerous projects that will hopefully inspire change in the world.
