Ziva Haller Rubenstein left the U.S. for Israel in 2000, armed with two art history degrees and a whole 'lotta Zionism. After working in leading art institutions and organizations a world over, Ziva decided to start her own blog, Designist Dream. Say it slowly and youíll get it: De-sign-ist Dream. It's where art and design and the Holy Land come together.
But that's just her night job. Ziva currently lives in Modiin with her husband Harry, and is a mother to 2-year-old rockstar, Tzofia. She is also currently leading the Jewish Agency for Israel's foray online, overseeing the website's content, devising marketing strategies for the organization and launching its social media campaign.
Although this doesn't leave her with much spare time, what brings together Ziva's personal and professional lives are her passions for creativity, for Israel and a Jewish identity that somehow stems from the interaction therein.
