Avner Warner immigrated to Israel from the UK in 1998 and was immediately drafted into the IDF, where he served in an elite combat unit and held commanding posts. After completing military service, he studied law at Hebrew University, where he served as a representative on the Student Union and was active in student leadership and initiatives.
In 2004 Avner was employed by StandWithUs in the early stages of the formation of its Israel branch. In addition to taking part in the technical foundation, he was primarily responsible for setting objectives and project development. In this capacity Avner also conceived and designed the Leadership, Diplomacy Communication Seminar, which, since its conception in 2006, has become one of the most successful and prestigious on-campus diplomacy programs in Israel. In 2008 Avner completed his internship in corporate and commercial law at Yigal Arnon & Co. law firm. He was recently admitted to the Israel Bar.
