On Liz Nord's latest trip to Israel, while shooting her new documentary, Battle for Jerusalem, Liz put together this short clip on the re-opening of the Israel Museum.


The Jerusalem Season of Culture organization invited around 60 Israeli artists from many disciplines to respond to works in the museum through amazing, live, simultaneous, one-time-only performances, and here is a small taste:

Kesser_torahDuring August of 2010, ROIer Michelle Rojas-Tal, Diaspora Education Director for StandWithUs, took part in a 3-week, 4-city speaking tour in Australia.

Michelle began her trip in Perth addressing community members, students and the National Council of Churches in Australia who are considering taking on limited boycotts against Israel.

"As of now," Michelle reported, "11 unions in Australia have signed onto the BDS (Boycotts, Divestment and Sanctions) Movement. Student supporters of Israel are faced with a daily barrage of anti-Israel sentiments on campuses across the country effecting what is typically a very apathetic and laid-back lifestyle for them."
