Time to Sing - the Year's Almost Over!
Categories: Arts and Culture
You may have come across some of the fun Rosh Hashana videos made in preparation for the 5772 Jewish New Year. Some ROIers have been involved and feature in these great clips.
The first video below is an online Rosh Hashana Greeting created by an ROIer, Patricia Eszter Margit, and her organization, Art Kibbutz NYC. Eszter arranged Shofar FlashMobs worldwide and then used footage from the various gatherings to create this YouTube e-Card.
In this next video, Midreshet Ein Prat's Fountainheads once again WOW viewers, this time with a novel take on Shakira's Waka Waka, with "Dip Your Apple." A number of ROIers attend (and have attended) Midreshet Ein Prat. (I first came across this one thanks to our "inside man," Regev Ben David!)
As usual, we can depend on Aish HaTorah to come out with a worthwhile clip (the "Rosh Hashanah Rock Anthem") - thanks for sharing Taras Prokopenko!
And last, but not least, one of the newest Jewish online hit-performers, the Maccabeats, with "Book of Good Life."
