ROI Regional Gatherings bring together current and prospective community members for regionally-based collaborative exchanges. Each gathering is geared toward offering professional skill sessions, in addition to networking and project development opportunities. This past year, ROI held its first European gathering in Vilnius, Lithuania. Past gatherings include local events in Israel and North America, as well as the first Spanish-language ROI Latin American gathering that took place in Mexico.

 

The ROI Grants program supports the unique ideas being generated by members of the ROI community. In 2008, $100,000 in seed funding was granted to 35 different projects as a pilot for the grants program. In 2010, ROI awarded nearly $500,000 in seeds grants to 35 initiatives hailing from 11 countries that are being led by members of the community, visit our grants portolio to see these projects. ROI also offers micro-grant funding such as the, which provides travel subsidies for ROIers who are invited to address various international conferences.

 

ROI’s annual summits, regional gatherings and grant awards were created as a means to facilitate new models for Jewish involvement, identity and expression, and the combination of online initiatives and in-person encounters cultivates collaboration within an international network of young leaders who are committed to a vibrant, innovative future for the Jewish people.
