Bat Kol: Talya Lev

Our mission is to grow Bat Kol into an international community and a recognized voice in the religious world, promoting religious values such as Ahavat Hinam, tolerance and Tikun Olam within the orthodox community and the Jewish and non-Jewish communities at large. We plan on playing a major role in the near and distant future in fostering an evolution of Orthodox religious consciousness away from prejudice and towards love and acceptance of lesbians, gay men, and other minorities. We envision a world of embodied Jewish living that celebrates diversity and our common humanity, and hope through this initiative to contribute our small part in bringing some of Judaism’s most sacred values into fruition.
