ROI Regional Gatherings

 
In addition to its annual global Summit, ROI has held a number of Regional Gatherings, bringing young innovators together for peer-led skills sessions, networking, text study, and in-depth discussions about where their communities are today, and what they should strive towards.
 
These gatherings - see a full list below - encourage and support:
  • Networking, project collaboration and exchanges among ROIers of similar geography;
  • Professional development training to community members in their own languages;
  • The local presence of ROI in communities worldwide. 

In August, 2012, ROI will host its first Regional Gathering in Australia! 

ROI Regional Gatherings are continuing to evolve. In February 2012, ROI launched its pilot Connector Program, thus redefining and reshaping ROI's model for Regional Gatherings and expanding the types of ROI gatherings on offer. While Regional Gatherings in the past were by and large organized by ROI staff, these gatherings are being driven by members, ROI Connectors. "Connection Points", the name given to these pilot gatherings, will bring ROI Community members together and increase members’ networking circles by broadening participation to non-members.
