Abigail Pickus settled in Israel two years ago from her hometown of Chicago, IL. A journalist, she is the former single’s columnist and blogger for the Jewish Week in New York and currently writes their monthly “Home and Away” column. In addition to past stints as a reporter and editor, she helped spearhead and run the Nextbook literary series in Chicago. Her work has been published in the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, many Jewish publications and more. When she’s not trying to perfect the art of ghee making or working on her novel, she’s taking long walks with her cranky and constant doggy companion, Trevor.
