As the Director of Experiential Education at the New Community Jewish High School in West Hills, CA, Becca manages and develops hands-on learning opportunities for students inside and outside of the classroom. These experiences include a Civil Rights Journey through the American South; a Tikkun Olam week in New Orleans, a Pecuah Nefesh-wilderness first-aid Shabbaton, as well as other themed Shabbatonim and travel programs. Becca also teaches a formal Judaism and the Environment text study course and manages the school's organic garden. Becca received her BA in political science and environmental studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and her MA Ed in experiential education from the American Jewish University. Becca was the track moderator for the ROI Environment track for 2 Summits - 2007 and 2008
