Denise Dalva earned a degree in social communication and has served in different national and international organizations both within and outside the Jewish community. During these years of professional experience, she discovered that she feels especially comfortable participating in and running community-based organizations with a social cause, such as her work with the Hillel Foundation and DESEM young entrepreneurs. These activities gave her great personal and professional fulfillment. She received her formal education outside of the Jewish community. At age 22, she began to participate by her own motivation in different areas of the Jewish community: Hillel, the Jewish community of the Uruguay, Rikudim movement, Yavne community, and through this she gradually linked to various sectors of the community. Thanks to the different activities carried out and her ability to build networks and motivate others, Denise has earned a place of leadership in the Jewish community of Uruguay.
