Einat Kramer is the founder and director of Teva Ivri (Jewish Nature), an initiative dedicated to the interplay of Judaism and the environment. Married to Shmulik, Einat is also the mother of Shachar, Shaked and Nave. They live in Eshchar, a beautiful village in the Galilee where religious and secular Jews live together and share a unique community life. Einat is a graduate of the Environmental Fellows Program of The Heschel Center for Environmental Learning and Leadership and of Tehuda, a professional Jewish leadership program. Both positions have enabled her to research the Jewish roots of her own social and environmental awareness and to conceptualize and lay the groundwork for Teva Ivri. Einat is a lecturer and consultant on Judaism, environment and social issues in a variety of institutions, including Tali Jewish Education, The Israel Association of Community Centers, and Hillel House.
