Evelyn Goldfinger has a degree in humanities and social sciences. She is an artist, playwright, director and theatrical researcher. Since 2003, Evelyn has coordinated and overseen a cast of young volunteers in Hillel Argentina who perform theatrical presentations to economically disadvantaged children. Evelyn did an internship at the Idish-Folksbiene's theater in New York. After returning to Argentina, she wrote El Baúl de la Bobe to teach new generations about the Yiddish language and culture. Evelyn is the creator and Director of the El Toratron, a Judaic educational theatre that features interactive works about Jewish holidays and stories from the Torah. The El Toratron obtained a grant from ROI and performed a play about Israel for the Israeli Embassy in Argentina. Evelyn won the prestigious Juan Cervera prize on theater research for children and youth and she was invited to present her work in Australia, Italy and Denmark.
