Gal Mor was born in Jerusalem in 1977. From 1983 to 1986 Gal moved with his family to Liverpool, England where his father was the Shaliach for Keren Hayesod to the local Jewish community. Between 1986 and 1991 Gal returned to Mevaseret Zion. From 1991 to 1995 he moved to Edmonton, Canada where his father was once again appointed a Shaliach. In 1995 Gal completed high school in Edmonton and traveled to Europe for three months. Between 1996 and 2000 Gal completed his military service in the IDF, serving as an officer in multiple positions. From 2000 to 2001 Gal traveled once again and this time around the world in 11 months. In 2001 Gal acquired a B.A. in international relations and communications. From 2004 until 2007 Gal worked at the Israeli Embassy in Berlin. From 2008 to January 2010 Gal acted as the Israel Regional Director of Sandemans New Europe in Israel. Currently Gal is partner and manager at Abraham Hostel and Abraham Tours Jerusalem (www.abrahamhostels.com) .
