In broad brush strokes: Born in Chicago. Raised in Los Angeles. Studied in several locations, including in Los Angeles, New York, England, and Australia. Involved in a range of educational projects in the Former Soviet Union and the Far East. Served at Ground Zero as a member of the American Red Cross' Spiritual Care program. In 2002, my wife and I were recruited to develop a new Chabad center to serve Washington University in St. Louis and other campus communities in the region. Married with two wonderful daughters.
