Jesse received a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from New College of Florida, focusing on the study of different cultures, societies, and religions of the world. In New York City, Jesse worked as a special education high school teacher in the Bronx while earning his masters degree at Pace University. He has also worked for a YMCA group home, tutored for the Big Brothers organization, and worked summers as a supervisor at a large camp in the Berkshires. Jesse is the co-founding director for Faiths United for Sustainable Energy.
