Jess Adkins is a specialist in project management and strategy in the public sector, with broad ranging experience from the UK and Israel. Before making aliyah she spent two years managing large scale projects in the field of health and social services in London. She is a graduate of the British government’s civil service fast stream and holds graduate degrees in public management, from Warwick Business School, and conflict resolution, from Hebrew University. She is trained in negotiation and mediation, and has participated in international conferences on the resolution of the Israeli Palestinian conflict around the world.

As well as project management for different public sector organisations in Israel, she continues her commitment to the public sector with her role on the Gvahim public sector board, an organisation which helps highly skilled new immigrants to find work in the Israeli market. She also counts health policy and management amongst her areas of professional interest, and is a lay member of the board of the Royal College of Anaesthesia in the UK.
