Naomi Less is a Jewish chick-rocker, educational trainer, actor and experiential educator. She founded Jewish Chicks Rock, to encourage more girls to pick up instruments and express themselves through rock music. Her live rock show amplifies positive messaging through words of hope, strength and confidence to both girls and co-ed audiences. Educators use her music to build tolerance, empowerment and self-esteem in adolescents. Naomi tours, trains and delivers inspiring, custom-made rockshops. Naomi has developed a new project with co-chick rockers, Chana Rothman and Sarah Aaroeste, called "Lights Ignite Change" - a concert tour shedding light on social issues through music. She, with her colleagues, is exploring the need and potential for creating an International Jewish women's record label. Naomi is a Storahtelling founding company member and Director of Education and Training. She has trained and consulted for JTS Davidson School's (Addressing Evaded Issues in Jewish Education), Melton, Chazon/JAFI/AVI CHAI and many other organizations. She built over a decade of staff training for Jewish camps (National Ramah, Foundation for Jewish Camp). Naomi's undergraduate studies were in music and communications at Northwestern University. She received a master's in Jewish Education from JTSís Davidson School and certificates from the Institute for Informal Jewish Education (Brandeis University) and the Institute for Jewish Spirituality.
