Olga has always been actively involved in Jewish life. For many years, she has worked as a counselor and teacher in various educational programs for children and youth. She takes active part in an annual Jewish studies camp in the FSU called Sambation.
She is also a freelance translator and interpreter, and her most frequent subjects are Jewish history and culture. Having returned from a year at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies in Jerusalem, she and her husband Andrey Pshenitskiy initiated a Jewish classical text class in their local community, which they taught for a year.
Since November 2009, Olga has been working at the National Library's Judaic department. At the same time, she is the Social Media Person for Eshkolot (http://twitter.com/taste_of_ideas), a Moscow-based Jewish edutainment project which is a lot of fun.
