Rebecca Guber is the Director of the Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Artists, which she helped found six years ago. Before launching the Six Points Fellowship, Rebecca worked at Hazon, the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, the Museum of Jewish Heritage and founded the Shpatzirin Festival. She is a board member of AMDaT, a site-specific dance company and the Artists Alliance, a multi-cultural artist organization. She has participated in the Selah Leadership Program, the ROI Summit and PLP, and occasionally writes about Jewish culture. She lives in utopian Brooklyndia where she spends her time quilting, riding a fixie, shopping at farmer's markets, drinking artisanal whiskey and watering her terrarium several times a day.

The Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Artists, under the direction of Rebecca Guber, has distributed the most direct funding and support to Jewish artists in modern history. The Six Points Fellowship supports emerging artists in N.Y. and L.A. with funding, professional development and Jewish learning. During the two year fellowship, artists create and present diverse projects, engaging audiences with new Jewish culture and ideas. So far the Fellowship has supported 30 artists in N.Y. and L.A. and its artists have produced over several hundred readings, workshops and performances throughout the U.S. attended by over tens of thousands of people and featured in hundreds of articles and blog posts, including major mainstream and Jewish press, radio, and national TV. Its Fellows are creating innovative and high quality projects that bring Jewish ideas and themes to prestigious venues throughout the mainstream contemporary art community, as well as online, in disciplines that include photography, video, film, installation, music, theater and dance. Six Points believes that the artist’s voice is a key way of understanding contemporary Jewish life and culture and will serve as an historical record of this time in Jewish history.
