Samuel Dresel is 35 years old and lives in Montevideo, Uruguay. He worked for nearly 10 years in computer science before deciding to dedicate his time to community work. He worked in the Jewish community as coordinator of a group of Jewish university students. When Hillel started operations in Uruguay, he was involved in various tasks such as running programs and activities and acting as President of the union of university students and representative of Hillel for different conferences. He was Executive Director of the German-speaking Jewish community in Uruguay. He is currently a member of the organizing committee for the launching of new generations of CJL (Latin American Jewish Congress) in Uruguay. At the same time, he is the creator and Executive Director of the Shoah project, which has earned the support of the government and academic community.
