Sasha Perry is a documentary filmmaker based in Los Angeles. Her films have varied from environmental issues, animal rights, to health care in America and more. Her goal is to bring attention to important social justice topics through creative and engaging film making. Sasha is also the co-Program Director and head Chef for Jewlicious, a gathering of over 1,000 young Jews in LA. This year she created the first ever Kosher Vegan 100 mile bike race which raised money for the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, as well as running prisoner support groups for activists out of her home. Sasha is currently Chef at one of the most popular vegan restaurants in LA and working on a documentary about Jewish feminism for which she received an ROI grant.
