Secret Artist grew up in Haifa where he was active in the Scouts, first as a child and later as a counselor. After serving in the IDF as a troop commander he flew to the U.S. to work at a hippy, Jewish, California summer camp called Tawonga – and he kept going back for seven years, first as a counselor, later on as a unit head and finally as head of the Israeli teen delegation at the camp.
In Israel, Secret studied at H.I.T (Holon Industrial Design), specializing in social and sustainable design and graduated in 2010.
Secret is a former recipient of a full scholarship for the prestigious international five weeks workshop in Boulder, Colorado, called, "Surfing the Creative". He also received a full scholarship for a four month international art residency at Fondazione Pistoletto in Italy where he exhibited for the first time as a professional artist.
These days Secret works as a freelance artist, designer and social entrepreneur and he often works on projects that bring together these three components.
Secret and a few friends recently launched a pop-up art exhibition called, "value: place." The four-day exhibit was held in a former print factory in South Tel Aviv. The artists used as much of the materials they found in the space as possible to examine the concepts of the "value" of people’s lives through their “place” or work.
