About Me
Susanne is currently the social media coordinator for the National Jewish Outreach Program. This position has her managing all of NJOP's internet, new media, and social networking endeavors including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest, blogs, viral marketing and much more. She's proudest of "JewishTweets", NJOP's Twitter handle which is the #1 Jewish Lifestyle Twitterfeed, where Susanne communicates daily with over 25,000 Twitter followers around the world. As "JewishTweets" she is the go-to person for the millions of people on Twitter, to answer questions about Judaism, help them find a local synagogue, and educate them about Jewish lifecycle events and holidays. She also co-founded ParnasaFest, an international grassroots initiative providing networking and job assistance for the Jewish community. Through this organization, she's been able to teach those in need how to brand themselves and use the internet's vast resources and real life networking to put themselves out there and make new connections.
In March 2011, Susanne was a co-presenter of the South By Southwest (SXSW) panel on Jewish Synergy: Social Media and the New Community where they discussed the new global Jewish community that exists almost exclusively online.
In 2010, Susanne was deemed a "Social Media Rock Star" by the Jewish Week as she was selected to their "36 Under 36" (one the 36 most influential Jewish leaders under the age of 36).
Susanne recently relocated from NYC to Dallas, TX with her husband Evan. Her daughter Becca was born in February of 2012.
