Yulia Kelman lives in Moscow. She graduated from both the Geography and the Education Departments of the Moscow State University in 2010. She is now pursuing her post-graduate studies in a field of human geography. She organizes cultural and educational events for parents with babies and she also coordinates her project, “Cities,” for Hillel. Since childhood, Yulia has been involved in the Jewish community. She participated in various Jewish programs in Russia and abroad, including the leadership project “Knafaim,” the Yiddish heritage expedition to Lithuania, a Shoah seminar in Poland, a cultural and educational seminar in Prague, a Jewish summer camp in the USA and she was a staff member for Taglit-Birthright in Israel.
